HOW TO MEASURE

Twelve measurements, a shirt that fits

Measure once: we keep your values for every future order. A tape measure, ten minutes, and an advisor who checks everything before production starts.

MEASUREMENTS KEPT FROM YOUR FIRST ORDER

THREE METHODS

Pick the one that suits you.

  1. 01

    Your body

Measure directly on the body: neck, chest, waist, hips. This is the most accurate method. Allow ten minutes with a soft tape measure and, ideally, a second pair of hands.

  2. 02

    A shirt laid flat

Own a shirt that fits you perfectly? Lay it flat and take twelve measurements. We reproduce its cut in the fabric of your choice.

  3. 03

    Standard size

In a hurry? Pick a size from XS to 3XL. We start from our blocks and an advisor refines them with you by phone before production.

BEFORE YOU START

Four rules that prevent mistakes.

Most measurement errors come down to these four points. Two minutes of reading will save you an alteration.

  1. 01

    Don't pull tight

The tape should touch the body without compressing it. You should be able to slide one finger underneath. We add the necessary ease ourselves.

  2. 02

    Keep it level

The tape must stay parallel to the floor all the way round. In front of a mirror, check it isn't riding up at the back.

  3. 03

    Measure over a thin t-shirt

Not over a jumper, not bare-chested. A light t-shirt gives the value closest to how the shirt will actually be worn.

  4. 04

    Write it in centimetres

One decimal is enough (e.g. 41.5). If you're between two values, take the larger one and mention it to your advisor.
